Competitor safety is paramount. The ADBA Official Rulebook outlines strict requirements for safety equipment, including mandatory foot throttles with return springs, kill switches, secured fuel lines, Snell-rated helmets, neck restraints, and fire-resistant suits. Faster classes require reinforced capsules with harnesses and onboard air. An On-Water Incident & Emergency Response Plan is also in place for rapid and coordinated responses to any on-water incidents.
LDBN events are designed to be a thrilling spectacle, often described as the “fastest show on water.” You can expect thunderous engine noise, massive roostertails of spray from 10,000-horsepower boats, and extreme speeds. The events aim to appeal to both core motorsport enthusiasts and experience-seeking families, offering a festival atmosphere.
